Are you a Talent Acquisition leader who thrives on developing creative solutions to attract talent? We are looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our team!

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Director – Talent Management, you are a senior business partner responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of talent acquisition in our newly established High Volume Recruitment team. As Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for building out this newly formed team, ensuring that high volume recruitment is executed in keeping with industry best practices while meeting hiring targets.

You will develop recruitment strategies for assigned portfolios, coach and develop a team of talent acquisition specialists and work with your peers and the Director of Talent Management to drive cultural changes in the department.

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to present to senior leaders, provide consultation and guidance to department heads and the ability to influence decision-making in a firm and diplomatic manner
  • Demonstrate specialized expertise and knowledge in high volume recruitment
  • Exceptional people leadership skills along with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including the Employee Standards Act and the Human Rights Code

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

  • Your educational background including completion of a University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline (Human Resources, Business Administration) with several years of progressively responsible experience in a related senior recruitment, selection and compensation role; or experience deemed equivalent is integral and will contribute to the success of the role. Your application will demonstrate previous experience in a unionized environment.
